Our aims​
 

•  give older people an active voice in stating their needs and views on local and national issues that concern them​
   
• promote the importance of acknowledging and respecting the dignity and worth of older people​
   
• positively combat age discrimination.

     What we do​
 

• hold open meetings every month with relevant speakers​
   
• ·campaign on key issues affecting older people​
   
• ·support and bring together a network of organisations in Wandsworth which work with older people​
   
• ·represent older people’s interests on local groups​
   
• ·organise an annual Conference on a topical issue relating to older people for our stakeholders​
   
• produce a regular newsletter with a wide circulation

     Who we are​
 

• ·a member organisation open to any older resident in Wandsworth or any individual or organisation working with older people in Wandsworth​
   
• ·run by a  group of volunteers who form a management committee supported by a part time administrator​
   
• funded by Wandsworth Council until 2023 and helped by other charities and Trusts from time to time
